Adams Mountain is a small gated community located in North Raleigh about 3 miles from I-540. The neighborhood is one of the older gated communities in the area, formed in the mid-1980s. Adams Mountain is gated between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Home prices range from around 1-2 million. The community also has tennis courts and a pool.
