Located north of downtown Raleigh, the Glenwood-Brooklyn Historic District is made up of two neighborhoods, Glenwood and Brooklyn. Development of the neighborhood began in 1905, when the Glenwood Land Company was incorporated. Glenwood-Brooklyn was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. Home styles in Glenwood-Brooklyn include Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, and Craftsman.
