Northgate Park 

Northgate Park is located 5-10 minutes directly north of downtown Durham. It's super convenient, as it is located right next to I85 for easy access to Raleigh or Chapel Hill. The name of the neighborhood comes from the huge park in the center of the community, which is great for walking, jogging, or riding a bike through. Ellerbee Creek trail also connects to Northgate Park, so you can walk or bike all the way to downtown Durham. Most homes for sale in Northgate Park are priced between $200,000 and $450,000, and so are pretty affordable compared to some of the other "close to Duke and downtown" neighborhoods.
