With a population of around 11,000 residents, Knightdale real estate allows you to live in a peaceful area with a small-town feel that you won't want to miss. Traveling to the store or to a restaurant will never be difficult because you won't encounter large crowds and traffic like you can in the central parts of the Triangle
You will probably pay about $400,000 for Knightdale real estate, but you can find a home that fits any budget in Knightdale, which is one of the nice things about it. It's not as expensive as Raleigh or Cary to the west. One of our favorite newer neighborhoods is Langston Ridge by Chesapeake Homes, but with all the recent development in Knightdale there are a lot of good subdivisions to pick from.
If you're looking for larger lots, Estates at Smith Crossing can be a good option as those homes are on 0.75-1 acre, but still in a nice neighborhood where you can talk to your neighbors.
You will enjoy temperatures of around 89 degrees during the summer and 30 degrees in the months of winter. Although we do have some overcast skies in the winter (not as bad as the midwest), Knightdale summers are met with sunny skies. With this climate, you can spend plenty of time outdoors engaging in your favorite sports or caring for your lawn. There's only a few weeks each summer and winter that aren't nice to be outside.
Don't let its small-town appearance fool you; Knightdale has many parks, nature preserves, and other attractions that you will want to experience for yourself. When you are trying to decide if real estate in Knightdale is right for you, consider that living here will give you access to mainstream and privately own restaurants, offering the best of both worlds. Neighborhoods in Knightdale boast close proximity to the Mingo Creek Greenway which connects to the 33-mile City of Raleigh's Neuse River Trail, which are connected by a pedestrian bridge that goes over the Neuse River.
